Gosnells Albany Highway Bridge
The Albany Highway Bridge was originally built in 1868 by convicts, overseen by the Engineer in charge, Henry Passmore. It's also known as the Upper Canning Bridge.
As a result of being renovated, resurfaced and rebuilt over the years, the true integrity of the original bridge has been lost, with the last rebuild taking place in 1936.
The second bridge was built in 1974.
