Williams Narrogin Rail Bridge 2

The epitome of summer with the hot dry temperatures with barely a breeze in place.

12.30pm with the sounds of summer filling the air, only to be disturbed by a frequent car on the highway behind.

Grass beds and built up dead vegetation on a bone dry creek, covering holes and lurking snakes, surely to be out and about in places I step.

11 - Williams Narrogin Rail Bridge 2

In between light showers of rain, it was hard to muster the energy to go photograph anything outside my car at times. The unsettling cold and gusts of winds made me yearn for those oh-so gloriously warm, sunny and colourful days under the summer sun.

I didn't bother putting on my steel cap gumboots to photograph the middle of the bridge like the summer prior, particularly as there wasn't much to the creek other than swampy quicksand-type mud.
