Greenacre Riding School
Built in the 1950s, the riding school and showgrounds were established in 1973 by the late Vic Ferreira, who built it over a 30-year period with the help of his family. It was the only riding school in Western Australia with an official showground.
This site south of Perth closed around 2000 and was purchased by developers. Being marked as 'urban deferred,' it was leased out and reopened as an agistment centre until 2009. Very little information can be found on the history of this place.
It has since been abandoned and derelict, trashed by vandals and used an illegal dumping ground for rubble, asbestos and car types.
